Book Haul! Yay!

My first book haul ever. So, if you don't know what a book haul is i'm going to explain it. A book haul is when a book reviewer picks up some books to read during the month (or the months) and presents them to it's followers. So my book haul is going to be, probably, for two months. I'm a slow reader, but the book I'm going to read are relativly big, so...

1. The Diary of a Young Girl (Anne Frank's Diary) by Anne Frank (4.02 stars on Goodreads)
2. The Magic Awakening (Second Part of 'A Clash of Kings' from 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series; book 4) by George R.R. Martin (4.49 stars on Goodreads)
3. The Fellowship of the Ring (from 'The Lord of the Rings' series; book 1) by J.R.R. Tolkien (4.20 stars on Goodreads)
4. Alex 9, The Sword Keeper (from 'Alex 9' series; book 1) by Martin S. Braun (3.71 stars on Goodreads)
5. A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (3.93 stars on Goodreads)

NOTES:
1. I already read 'The Diary of a Young Girl) by Anne Frank and I'm going to review it soon.
2. Here in Portugal (where I live) they split each book from 'A Song of Ice and Fire' into two books. Which means that 'A Game of Thrones' here is 'A Game of Thrones' and 'The Ice Wall'. 'A Clash of Kings' here is 'A Clash of Kings' and 'The Magic Awakening'. That's why this book is number four here, but number two in the UK or the US or any other country that was smart enough to keep the book like it's supposed to be -.-'
3. I know that everyone has read this book, but not me. I'm living under a rock. At least I already read the Harry Potter series. But not the Hunger Games...
4. This is a portuguese book, which means that it's not published in english. It's a childrens book but I want to read it.
5. A classic, of course. I will try to read a classic each month and this month we have 'A Christmas Carol' and 'The DIary of a Young Girl' (I consider it a classic). This is a very small book, so it'll take me like, half an hour or something.

Writing n' Stuff

As you probably have noticed from the title, I'm really addicted to Ghosts n' Stuff by Deadmau5 and I have no idea why. i reguraly listen to Pop music and I don't even have a clue why I'm listening to Deadmau5. Other thing you probably thought when reading the title was that this post was about writing.
And it is...
Here is my confession: I love to write. I write during classes, I write when I'm home, I write when I'm trying to sleep. I started writting perhaps 400 books but never finished. And here's why:
-the stories are to similar to other books (like Harry Potter)
-i had another great idea wile writting this "book"
-i realize it's crap and it won't work
But finally, after five years of writting, i wrote a book. Yes, I did it! It was for a contest in my country were you wrote a book and you could become a published author (still waiting for the results). But... this book is crappy. I know it is. It's very bad written. But I wrote it, so I'm glad. It's called "The Golden Crown" and I won't give much information. It has 135 pages long, many twists, many wars, many deaths. And now I'm working on another book! Hope this one works out to be awesome!

A Game of Thrones (Review)

I don't get why people don't like this book. This is epic. Yes, I know that some people might not like this genre of adventure/fiction with kings and princes and lords and dragons and battles and wars. But c'mon! This is called 'A Game of Thrones'. It has Thrones on it's name so, I don't know, but perhaps this will be about kings. Or is it about unicorns and cupcakes? NO! It's about thrones and not those thrones of tghe fairies and unicorns realms. NO! About normal thrones from normal realms with normal kings and queens.
Now that I got that clear, let's begin the 'review'. First of all:
-Plot-
We all know what this is about (I think I made it clear in that paragrphs above) but for those that don't know, here it is: it's impossible to give an overall sinopsis. This book is so complex and so good that it's impossible to tell a sinopsis without spoilers and if I gave a sinopsis, it would take me 19077 characters to write. But let's move on... The plot is... oh! It is... I don't know how to describe! It's so good, so complex, so twisted and dark and funny and real and believable... Oh, I don't know!
-Characters-
Oh the characters. They are so real and you can relate to some of them. There are hundreds (no kidding) and hundreds of characters. So many names! I have no idea how the hell George came up with all these names. Because he doesn't say the name of the characters that are alive and that participate in the hole plot. He also tells us the name of ancient kings and the name of the parents of the characters. You don't have to memorize them all. Just the main characters. And there are so many young characters! There is Arya that is 9 years-old, Danaerys is 14 and (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER) she is pregnant from a guy that is like 28 I believe and he is a rude nomad (I know weird) and she was sold to him. There is Bran who is 8 years-old and Joffrey (the king) and he is 12 and so many others. But this is what makes the book so real. In the medieval times in the real world people grew up a lot faster. 14 years old kids were already old enough to get married and get kids.
NOTE: there are some explicit scenes in this book that may involve minors. And there is incest and stuff like that. So if you get all crazy when there is sex in books, DON'T READ THIS!!!
-Writing-
George R.R. Martin's writing is just... amazing. I mean... it's so amazing. This book is written in POV (Point of View) which means that it has no chapters. The story is told by the characters (not in first person) and that is just awesome. When you read this book it feels like you see the story with the eyes of the character. You basically enter the characters mind and live the story.
He is very descriptive and sometimes (SOMETIMES not ALWAYS) boring. SOMETIMES. I REPEAT: SOMETIMES. But that is exactly what makes it so real and good!
-What I liked in this book-
Everything. And when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING.
-What I disliked in this book
Nothing and when i say nothing I mean NOTHING.

Hello! (And what's a Book Terminator)

My first post ever. Yay! Happy times! So... hello! I thought I'd do this post because every person that starts a blog or a youtube channel makes a post/video saying hello and then talk abou themselves. That's what I'm gonna do! As you may or may not have noticed I'm a book lover. I love to read I love to see the books I almost have eyegasms just by seeing books. When I see one I feel the urge to read it. Even if it's only the first page, just to know if I like it or not. I might not see that book again but I need to touch it, smell it, read it. I don't know what's wrong with me but whatever. Now, what's a book terminator you may ask. A book terminator is someone that destroys books. Not literally of course but figuratively. I kill them, I destroy them. Just kidding. Now that's my post saying hello and explaining what a book terminator is. Bye... see you next time!

xoxo
